Maryland State Firemen's Convention Parade
Ocean City - June 17, 2009

The Convention Parade will be held on Wednesday, June 17th starting promptly at 1300 hours, rain or shine. To be judged for prizes, apparatus must have been placed in service for emergency response in its home jurisdiction before coming to Ocean City, and must be equipped. Apparatus will be judged on appearance, cleanliness, neatness, and uniformity of the personnel. No sirens or horns at any time. Absolutely no drinking of any alcoholic beverage. No discharging of water or other agents. No unbecoming behavior. No drilling or performing at the judges reviewing stands or that does not maintain forward progress at all times. All awards are for units in the line of parade. Actual numbers and types of trophies in certain categories may change due to number and types of entrants at day of parade. There will be two judges reviewing stands. Violations of any of the rules and regulations will result in disqualification and possible removal of the unit from the line of parade.

Lineup at the Inlet parking lot starting @ 9:00 am, Parade Line-Up Will Be First Come–First In Line, Unless Your Jurisdiction Comes In As A Group After Forming Together Before The Route 50 Bridge

Parade prizes and awards will be presented at 1730 hours, (or as close to this time as possible), in the rear of the Convention Center. The Convention Committee will provide free hot dogs, soda, and other light food for all parade participants starting at 1630 hours in the rear of the Convention Center in appreciation for your participation and to ensure a safe trip home.
 
Firehouse Expo Parade
Baltimore, MD - July 26, 2009

Line up at 7:00 am. Parade starts at 9:00 am. Over 140 pieces of new and antique fire apparatus from all over the eastern seaboard will wind its way through the Baltimore Inner Harbor past the waterfront and hotels ending at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department's 75th Anniversary Parade
Mechanicsville, MD - August 1, 2009

Fire Apparatus of all shapes and sizes will be in attendance. We hope to attract more than one hundred units, which would make this one of the largest parades ever in Mechanicsville. The parade will begin at 3pm. There will be local food, cold beverages, childrens activities, memorabilia sales and the award presentations. Please bring your families and enjoy the evening. But wait, the fun won't stop when the parade ends..... A party will follow the parade with music and FIRE WORKS!!!!

Greenbelt Labor Day Festival Parade
Greenbelt, MD - September 7th, 2009

The Greenbelt Labor Day Festival Parade will take place at 10:00AM to noon. It will start at the Buddy Attick Park (Greenbelt Lake) and proceed to Roosevelt Center. Groups of all types are invited to participate. CASH prizes! Owners of antique fire apparatus are STRONGLY encouraged to participate.

Check-In Information: Please report to the parade check-in center between 8:30 am and 9:00 am. It will be located at the entrance of Buddy Attick Park at the corner of Kenilworth Avenue (MD 201) and Crescent Road. You will be assigned a parade unit number at this time. The parade starts promptly at 10:00 am
